Dr. St\u00e9phanie Goron, a clinical psychologist and member of the Ordre des Psychologues du Qu\u00e9bec, holds a master\u2019s degree in psychological sciences from the Universit\u00e9 de Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) and a doctorate in psychology from the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al. She specializes in anxiety and depressive disorders in adults, with expertise in women\u2019s health, perinatal care, and assisted reproduction.<\/p>\n

After completing an internship at the CHUM and the Douglas Hospital, she worked in an assisted reproduction clinic and the CHUM\u2019s birthing center. She now practices exclusively in private practice. Her research on postpartum depression includes a thesis titled: \u201cPostpartum Depression, an Atypical Depressive Phenomenon? Analysis of Symptom Severity, Specific Symptoms, and Causes.\u201d<\/em>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1474″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” css=””][vc_column_text css=””]\n

Naturally curious and committed to providing quality support, she is interested in research on stress management in assisted reproduction contexts to improve the quality of life for people suffering from infertility.<\/p>\n
