  • Urologist graduated from the University of Montreal in 1996 and certified at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Pediatric Urology Subspecialty at the University of Toronto and Sick Children’s Hospital Toronto
  • Doctorate (PhD) in physiology, endocrinology option at the University of Sherbrooke in 2013 in parallel with his training at the University of Montreal.
  • Physician member of the Department of Surgery and the Urology Department of CHU Sainte-Justine
  • Physician member of the Department of Surgery and the Department of Urology of the CHUM Center hospitalier universitaire de Montréal
  • Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Montreal,
  • Former program director of the urology program at the University of Montreal,
  • Member of the review committee for postgraduate evaluations of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montreal

  • Reconstruction of the urinary tree in children and adults
  • Complex reconstruction of genital anomalies

  • Male infertility linked to congenital and genetic anomalies

On a more personal note

Dr. Barrieras is calm, caring and reassuring and goes out of his way to help his patients. He is also an athlete who enjoys cycling, running and golf. He loves music and never misses the opportunity to attend shows.
