Embryologist
full time – 37,50 hr / week
miacleo, a fertility clinic located in Greenfield Park, which offers a full range of assisted reproduction services to Quebecers who wish to start a family, is looking for an embryologist on a regular basis at 37.50 hours per week. The main duties, responsibilities and requirements of the position are as follows:
Duties and responsibilities
- Culture and evaluation of embryos;
- Preparation of media and kneading;
- Preparation of reports, follow-ups for patients;
- Perform follicular fluid analysis during egg puncture;
- Preparation of sperm for in vitro fertilization;
- Perform oocyte fertilization (ICSI) or insemination by conventional IVF;
- Perform an embryo transfer;
- Vitrification and warming of sperm, oocytes and embryos;
- Biopsy of blastocysts;
- Materiel management (medical gases and consumables);
- Receive orders and cryo-preserved equipment;
- Perform other duties related to the position.
Job Requirements
- Msc. in biological sciences or laboratory-related sciences;
- Two years minimal experience in a laboratory of embryo production;
- Experience in the field of IVF for humans, will be an asset;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Availability to rotate on weekends and holidays;
- Teamwork skill is essential;
- Bilingual: French, English, written and spoken.
